Under REACH, consumers have a "right to know" about substances of very high concern in the products they buy. - SCIP is a new database for consumers on hazardous chemicals in products, designed to promote the replacement of harmful substances.
Companies that offer products containing candidate list substances of very high concern (SVHCs) at concentrations greater than 0.1 percent by weight (w/w) on the EU market will be required to submit information about those articles to ECHA starting Jan. 5, 2021. The SCIP database ensures that information on articles containing candidate list substances is available throughout the life cycle of products and materials, including the waste phase. The information in the database is then made available to waste operators and consumers.
1. RONDA is neither a producer nor an importer within the EU and therefore cannot list its own SCIP records.
2. As a service, we provide watch manufacturers or importers domiciled in the EU with the necessary information on our products as PDF downloads below.
3. The information is summarized by product lines and the two Powertech calibers 762E and 763E (nickel-plated versions) are assigned to the Powertech 5XX Series.
