RONDA is aware that the EU directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS – including 2015/863 and 2017/2102) is limiting the use of certain hazardous substances in electric and electronic equipment. In particular the following substances are listed:
1. Mercury
2. Chromium VI
3. Cadmium
4. Flame retardants and plasticizers PBB,PBDE,DEHP,BBP,DBP,DIBP
5. Lead
Conformity
The following statement regarding compliance of our products with EU directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS, including 2015/863 and 2017/2102) is based on our continuously updated research and inquiries to our suppliers.
- The content of above mentioned substances in our products are not exceeding the limits as defined in the RoHS Directive
- RONDA is systematically using lead-free soldering materials
- Products with parts made of brass fall under the exemption 6(c) “Copper alloy containing up to 4 % lead by weight” (Annex III to Directive 2011/65/EU) and are therefore compliant
- Products with parts made of steel fall under the exemption 6(a) “Lead up to 0.35% by weight in alloyed steel (for machining) and galvanized steel” (Annex III to Directive 2011/65/EU) and are therefore compliant
- On data sheets we state RoHS compliance as „EU directive 2011/65/EU compliant” which in fact means compliant with this directive and additions 2015/863 and 2017/2102
