A new day-and-date chronograph for the RONDA startech 5000 range
Ronda is adding a further chronograph to its Startech 5000 line. The new 12½'''-sized caliber 5040.E quartz movement incorporates a calendar system that combines the conventional date with a horizontal day display at the 12 o'clock position, a feature that lends a highly appealing functionality to resulting watch designs. The classic 3-6-9 o'clock three-eye look has also been retained. In addition to a center stop second, the 5040.E's chronograph functions extend to a tenth-of-a-second and a separate 30-minute and 10-hour counter. With its outstanding price-performance ratio, this latest Ronda innovation is sure to prove popular with a broad customer base. The company's 28.00 mm-diameter Startech 5000 range of watch movements now runs to 18 multifunctions and chronographs.
