To mark the start of summer, Ronda launches Solartech, a product line with solar-powered quartz movements.
For the power supply, the movement uses sunlight and stores the
converted electrical energy. Because the solar movement eliminates the need for frequent battery changes, the new line offers watchmakers an environmentally friendly option.
With the launch of Solartech, watchmakers can choose from four 11½'' movements. In July, the sales launch of the calibre 215 with 3 hands and date takes place. Three more models with classic functions will follow by autumn. All of them are exclusively Swiss Made.
